Terms and Conditions
We are well aware that it can be uncomfortable buying or ordering expensive items from a stranger on the internet.
A good source to check out our reputation and the quality of our work would be the Opel Manta Owners Club discussion forum. Simply post a question about "Custom Solutions" on the discussion forum and see what feedback you get, or do a search for "Custom Solutions". The owner of Custom Solutions has been a long standing OMOC member and a club rep for many years.
However, we will guarantee that any item supplied by us shall be fit for the purpose it was made for.
Any functional item, i.e. a header tank, washer bottle etc. is covered by a 1 year guarantee. BUT, if it is ever found to throw a leak in it's life simply return it to us and we will repair it free of charge, postage excepted.
Polished items
These should reach you unmarked and absolutely spot on. The only exceptions being the tanks, as these sometimes have fine polishing marks on the surface. This is something we are in the process of addressing.
If upon receipt of anything you are simply not happy, then we shall either:
- Repair,
- Replace,
- Or Refund (In That Order)
Custom Orders
Please be aware that it is the customer's responsibility to supply us with the information required to produce their work. If upon receipt the customer finds his work to be unsuitable through his own design, we are more than happy to alter the work at minimal cost to the customer. Mistakes can happen. Depending upon the size and quantity of an alteration, there may only be our postage costs to pay. If we are at fault (which does happen occasionally) then I will again either replace or alter at my own expense and pay the postage costs.
Unique Items
There have been instances where we had not only been designing an item, but had two different customers asking me to make the same thing. Of course, in this instance there were two customers thinking they had a unique item. This happens from time to time, but if you specifically ask us not to reproduce their work (which I don't anyway), then we won't.
Please be aware, if you have thought of it then there is a good chance someone else has too!
Standard items
As we constantly review the production of any standard items we make, we reserve the right to alter any specification at any time we see fit. Any major difference to any standard item we produce will be made aware to the customer at the time of ordering, should our website not have been updated.
Delivery times
With many of our items being custom made for you, there may be delays in fulfilling your order. Please let us know if you need an item for a particular date such as a car show or something similar and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We do aim to keep customers informed, especially when they are expecting their work by a certain date.
Customers
We reserve the right to decide if we do not want to deal with any particular customer. In this case any payments made shall be returned, but in the case of any dispute between any misinformation supplied by the customer when I have started on any work for said customer, then I shall either charge him/her accordingly at a percentage of the work done. Alternatively, we will provide a refund and sell the work on to another customer.
Returns
In the unlikely event of you wanting to return your item, please ensure that it is wrapped and parcelled to the same standard as you received it. I simply cannot refund on a polished stainless whatever if it is marked or damaged from rattling around in a cardboard box during transit. In the event that we do get something returned like this, please be advised that if a refund is being asked for due to the item being marked/scratched then no refund shall be given as we cannot verify that the item was delivered in that condition.
